Flatmates at Fifty?

I read a Sunday Times home supplement article about "friends forever", telling the story about flatsharing for the over 50s. What a great was to enjoy your midlife years!

Over 50s are better house-trained and with fewer antisocial habits that the untamed younger generation so surely it's worth a try? The article continues by saying that many 50 year olds have become part of the TWAT community (stands for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for work).

Stats: 19% are aged 50+, 50% are renters looking for weekday accommodation are in the 40 - 60 year old range.

Food for thought? How can we cater for this emerging community?
